Daydreaming…

First off, I’d like to send out a huge “thank you” for coming out and supporting us during our opening weekend this past Friday and Saturday.  It was so fun to finally open our doors and show everyone what we have been working so hard at during the past few months.  We have tons of opening days photos to share, and will do so later this week.  So be sure to check back in a few days.

Now on to the weather;) As much as I love living in Chicago, this weather can really get the best of us.  After months and months and months of living indoors, trapped by the weather, we long for the warmth of the sun and air.  So, when spring has finally arrived and it’s still 50 degrees, I look to the ever-so-inspiring interwebs for my home away from home.  Today I am dreaming of living here…

I think it’s the white washed walls, touches of vintage in every room, pops of color, light airy window coverings, laid back beachy vibe that is calling my name.  And i’m pretty sure the beach is just across the road.  Vintage coastal living at it’s finest.  Hey, at least the sun is shining today!  When you’re from the midwest, you really are grateful just to see the sun, even if for just for a day.

Don’t forget to check back later in the week for some opening day photos and a few newly arrived goods to the store as well.  We like to change/add things daily just to keep ya’ll on your toes.  And well, it just makes life more interesting, right??!!

Thanks for checking in and…

Cheers to a vintage life well lived!

A little inspiration…

As i was spending some time reading a few of my favorite blogs, i found some beautiful vintage inspired interiors i thought i would share with ya'll.  They are beautiful little spaces and a great example of how adding a little vintage into your spaces can add character and personality.  I hope that you too find them inspiring.

And now it's back to business as usual…getting ready for opening day.  Although we are nearly there, we still have some finishing touches.  We are full of excitement and thrilled to be able to offer you touches of vintage and inspiration for your home.  So, please spread the word of our opening, and until May 13…

Cheers to a vintage life well lived.

We’re almost ready

Thank you readers, for checking out our blog.  If you read our first (and only) blog post, you'll know that we haven't been so diligent with our blog updates.  Please forgive us.   Our time has been spent creating wonderful things for this little ole' brick and mortar storefront of ours that we are preparing to open May 13!!!.  Check her out on a drive-by if you haven't already.  Isn't she gorgeous in all of her “new awning” glory?!!

We definitely aren't ready to open our doors officially yet, but we are pretty darn close.  We just need to finish hanging artwork, fill in the empty gaps with more pretty odds and ends, and spiff up the windows and floors in preparation for opening day.  But really, haven't I bored you long enough.  Lets get to the good stuff.  Here's a sneak peak of some of our amazing finds…

Thank you so much for checking out our blog.  It is definitely a work in progress and we hope to not only use it to post our vintage in store finds, but also before and after furniture photos and inspiration photos of well put together vintage inspired rooms.  So, check back and don't forget to mark May 13th at 9:30am on your calendars and tell your friends!

Cheers to a vintage life well lived.
